Omelette-Reis Omuraisu + vegane Variante

Omuraisu - the omelette rice. One of the most famous Japanese dishes, also known from various series like "Midnight Diner" (Netflix), manga, anime or games like Genshin Impact. Traditionally, omuraisu is made with egg, but here I show you my vegan recipe that works without egg and tastes at least as good. It's quick, easy and tastes fantastic too. Ingredients (for 1 person), vegan version: 1/4 onion 1/2 carrot 1 portion rice (approx. 150g when cooked) 2 tablespoons ketchup Vegan dough: 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/3-1/4 tsp Kala Namak salt (also known as black salt) 1 tbsp potato starch 3 tbsp rice flour (not glutinous rice flour) 5 tbsp vegetable milk (e.g. rice milk) Traditional version (only the dough is different): 2 eggs 1 tsp. potato starch 2 tsp. milk Cooking rice without a rice cooker:    • Reis kochen ohne Reiskocher, kurz erklärt ...   Subscribe here for more Japanese videos: http://www.youtube.com/c/einfachjapan...
