Mount Papandayan (2,665 meters above sea level), located in Garut Regency, is one of the volcanoes that remains active. This mountain boasts unique natural charm, from the expanse of its active crater, the expanse of edelweiss flower fields in Pondok Saladah, and the exotic Dead Forest. Since 2016, several areas of Mount Papandayan have been officially managed as a Nature Tourism Park. Since then, infrastructure improvements have been continuously made to support tourism activities on Mount Papandayan.
