Flagstaff To Winslow Arizona Route 66 Road Trip
This is a road trip down the Historic Route 66 in Winslow, Arizona. We begin in Flagstaff and walk around Northern Arizona University then head out onto Highway 40 where the old Historic Route 66 road was. We drive past Walnut Canyon onto Meteor Crater. We stop by Meteor Crater check out the impact zone and museum. We then head out onto Highway 40 again towards Winslow Arizona to "Stand on the Corner" park and walk around where we get some souvenirs, take some pictures and get an ice cream. Once done in Winslow we try to visit the Petrified Forest but it closed at 5PM so we will have to come back another day. After Petrified Forest we went out to the Wigwam Teepee Motel in Holbrook before driving back across the rim and heading home.
