How to Install a XenoGC Modchip in Your Gamecube

In this video I show how to install a XenoGC modchip in a gamecube to allow it to play burned games and to region unlock the console. There are 2 methods for installing the XenoGC. The first method, called the wireless install, lets you solder the modchip directly to the DVD drive PCB without having to use wires. This is usually the faster and cleaner looking method. The second method, called the wired install, requires running wires from the modchip to the appropriate points on the DVD drive PCB. This method is safer and is easier to fix if you make a mistake, but is slower to install. If you have never installed a XenoGC modchip, go with the wired install.
