Cape York Before the Rains - Termite Graveyards, Crocs & River Crossings on 50cc Motorcycles

The wet season is closing in on our Cape York motorcycle adventure, forcing a change of travel plans and sending us south on a new route all the way to Sydney. But before leaving the Outback behind, it still throws a few final adventures our way - from the ancient Old Laura Homestead ruins telling the story of Australia's early settlers, to vast termite-covered plains and croc-inhabited river crossings that get our hearts racing. 900 dusty kilometres later, we and our 50cc classic bikes end up exactly where we should - with a cold beer in our hands at the iconic Lions Den Hotel.
