I had the opportunity to test drive the eighth-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom, which underwent a full model change last year. The model I test drove was an EWB (extended wheelbase) model priced at ¥65.4 million. It also boasts options worth over ¥3 million. Built on a new-generation platform known as the "Architecture of Luxury," it's powered by a 6.75L V12 twin-turbo engine. It produces 571 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.4 seconds despite its ultra-heavyweight body weighing 2,750 kg. Furthermore, the interior and exterior are completely custom-built, making it worthy of being called the pinnacle of excellence.
