Suzuki DR650 D.I.Y. Trash Can Windscreen ($10)

Today I share how to make a DIY windscreen with a 10 Gallon Sterilite Trash Can, Velcro, Patience, and a Can-Do Attitude. This can be made with a variation of trash cans (the 10 gallon is not the best option) and also a Sterilite 30 gallon Tote Lid. Make sure to use plenty of Velcro to make it a stable, but detachable option. I got this idea from a few sources. ‪@fmlstewart‬ ‪@bushpigperformance3647‬ ‪@eveRide‬ and a few differing posts online. They all advertise slightly different option for the screen, different bends, templates, sizes, etc. check them out. I would recommend using a heat gun or blow dryer in order to make your bends without cracking the plastic. Preparation, patience, and choice of trash can/lid is key. I cracked the first ones I made without heat. You do do not have to bend completely in half to get it to take form, it will crack. Ideally you would want to make the template, and take it with you to Lowe’s to decide on the perfect trash can or lid.
