In Ceará, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) delivered one of his harshest speeches yet on public security. The presidential pre-candidate issued an ultimatum to criminal factions: “You have until December 31st to get out of Brazil; those who stay will be arrested or neutralized by the police.” Ceará is one of the Brazilian states most affected by the advance of criminal factions, including Comando Vermelho. Therefore, Flávio's speech was applauded by those present. The senator also labeled the PT (Workers' Party) as a criminal faction and said that the party “goes easy” on criminals. “But that will change. Those who should be afraid to walk the streets are criminals, not law-abiding citizens,” he promised.
