012. 🚛. K & S Heavy Haulage had the job to haul 4 Aurizon's redundant locomotives to the Scrapyard.

This video has two of the locomotives, DBZ2310 & AB1504 being delivered from Aurizon's Forrestfield yard, out of Abernethy Road, to the other side of the rail tracks. Turning into Dundas Road around the Shell service station, and into C.D.Dodd Scrap Metal Recyclers yard. A real short heavy oversize haul this one! As K & S Heavy Haulage Forrestfield Depot, is also located in Abernethy Road. Just a stone's throw away from Aurizon's complex. Just a few kms separate Aurizon's Workshops and C.D.Dodd's scrapyard. Two other old diesel locomotives were also taken to Dodd's scrapyard later on the same day, with K & S oversize team, doing a second trip. Those locos, were DFZ2402 & DFZ2403. Video taken Wednesday 3rd June 2026 High Wycombe and Forrestfield. Local Facebook pages, had comments. That these old diesel locomotives, no longer required for traffic. Were being hauled to Aurizon's Picton Depot near Bunbury for further long term storage. But nah. Aurizon already had plans to scrap them, complete with bogies and all! Be some good return back for scrap value on these ones!
