THE MANY FACES OF ROBERT DUVALL (Ep. 130)

While still reeling from the deaths of cinematic icons GENE HACKMAN, ROBERT REDFORD and DIANE KEATON, Hollywood has suffered another blow with the passing of ROBERT DUVALL, on February 16, 2026. Duvall, known for his quiet intensity, authenticity, and deep emotional well, was considered one of the best actors of his generation. He was not an actor who demanded attention loudly, but quietly commanded attention completely. From his film debut as “Boo Radley” in 1962’s "To Kill A Mockingbird" to his final cameo in the psychological thriller "The Pale Blue Eye," Duvall alway delivered compelling, complex, and utterly fascinating performances. He was an actor’s actor and everyone respected him and everyone wanted to work with him. This week, we are honoring Mr. Duvall and some of our favorite of his performances.
