Yamaha TG-77 Backlight panel replacement

How to replace the backlight (EL panel) of the LCD on a Yamaha TG-77 sound module. I made this video so you can assess whether you feel you are up to the job. It is a rather lengthy process, but not overly complicated. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the volume knob without breaking it. I'll be happy to hear your comments! Correctly sized backlights can be purchased from eBay (mine came from seller puc1000) or e.g. www.backlight4you.com from Germany. The backlight costs around 20-30 EUR. The alternative to an EL panel replacement is a complete LCD replacement including LED backlight. This yields better results (a brighter display), but is a more complicated process and requires more skills.
