Min: Revd. Emmanuel Joshua. Topic: Fruitfulness (Reproduction) is the evidence of your spiritual life. Texts: 2 Timothy 2:2, John 15:1–8, Matthew 28:19–20. 2 Timothy 2:2 AMP. “The things [the doctrine, the precepts, the admonitions, the sum of my ministry] which you have heard me teach in the presence of many witnesses, entrust [as a treasure] to reliable and faithful men who will also be capable and qualified to teach others.” One of the clearest signs of life is reproduction. Every living thing God created carries within it the ability to multiply to reproduce. Example: 1. A tree bears fruit with seeds. 2.Families grow through generations. 3. Aflowing river brings life wherever it goes. 4. Ideas spread from one mind to another. The same principle exists spiritually; God never intended for believers to remain spiritually stagnant. Salvation is not the end of the journey—it is the beginning of a life that reproduces the character, faith, and mission of Christ in others. Spiritual reproduction is the process by which mature believers help bring others into faith and disciple them into spiritual maturity. A righteous church does not merely gather people; it raises disciples who make disciples. Therefore, Reproduction is God’s Design for you to be 1. Fruitful- Regeneration “be Fruitful and multiply. Gen.1:27. 2. Forward-thinking. 3. Fulfilled. 4. Flourishing. 5. Functional 6. A Fountain- peaceful and elegant. 7. Focused. You may not preach to crowds, but you can strudel by 1. Mentor one person. 2. Encourage a young believer. 3. Lead your family spiritually. 4. Share the Gospel. 5. Pray with someone and for someone 6. Organise a Bible study. How do I reproduce as a believer. 1. Abide in Christ. John 15:5. “I am the vine, ye are the branches… he that abideth in me… bringeth forth much fruit.” 2. Acknowledge the time of Pruning: Fruitfulness Requires Pruning Jesus said: John 15:2. “Every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” Pruning is uncomfortable, but necessary. God can decide to 1. Discipline, 2. Remove Distractions. 3. Deal with your Pride. 4. Take you out of wrong relationships. 5. Self-dependence Not to destroy you, but to increase your fruitfulness. Sometimes the painful seasons, produce greater spiritual growth. Pruning is proof that God is working on you. 3. Move from Activity to Actions, It is not about predicament but purpose : A tree may have many leaves and still produce no fruit. Likewise, A believer can be busy spiritually yet barren inwardly. God is not impressed only by: • Noise • Performance • Popularity • Religious activities • Is your life changing people around you? • Are you growing spiritually? • Are others encouraged by your walk with God • Are you becoming more like Christ? Fruitfulness is about transformation, not performance. Your fulfilments spiritually is critical to what you’re will be your reward and therefore it is unimportant to go the earthing board and Go back to Jesus and get the instruction right. Are you still on the way or you need Christ to bring you back to his assignmnet.
