In 1993, the Nissan Micra K11 became the first Japanese car ever to win the European Car of the Year award. That same year, a struggling Italian manufacturer released a stripped-back, raw motorcycle with one desperate goal, survive. The Ducati Monster didn't just save the brand from bankruptcy. It became one of the most iconic motorcycles ever built. And then there's the one that most people don't even know about, the Honda Shadow/Joker. Understated and quietly brilliant. All three are sitting in my workshop right now, forgotten. Today, I'm bringing them back.
