I also tried resetting the menus to factory settings, but the sport mode remains unlocked at 32 km/h instead of 25. However, you can still use modes 1 and 2, which are limited to 15 and 20 km/h, respectively. ✅ There will be another video on this topic. There's also a menu allowing for 5 selectable speeds instead of 3, which provides a more graduated speed range, bringing it closer to the original version, which was capped at 25 km/h. ✅ I stumbled upon this modification accidentally while turning on my bike on a slope with the brake lever pressed. It was a pleasant surprise to find that this simple manipulation could make my bike much more appealing. Indeed, the 25 km/h limitation is quite bothersome because when pedaling, I typically reach around 30 km/h. But going from 25 to 30 was really difficult as I had to exert additional force on the motor. With 32 km/h, it's much more manageable. ⚠️ The limitation kicks in at 32 km/h instead of 25, which isn't a complete unlock. Anyway, for safety reasons, I don't think it's wise to have the motor pushing much higher than this speed, as you might risk mechanical issues. ⚠️ Braking will start to become very challenging at this speed. So, this unlocking is a balance between having a dangerously fast bike and simply having one that doesn't hit a speed limit as soon as you're on the small chainring. 🎁 From what I found online, it seems this controller is used in many other bikes, so this manipulation might work on many other models as well. 🎁 Particularly, it will work on scooters. ⚠️ Stay legal and ensure your safety; don't do anything reckless. 🎁 Feel free to share your feedback and the models with which this modification works so that I can update the bike's description page.
