Cabin Crew Sleep in the Office when Red-eye Flight Delays!? | Singapore Layover

#cabincrew #singaporevlog Flight delays happen all the time for different reasons. It's exhausting for passengers as well as cabin crew and ground staff. Earlier this year, I had to operate a Singapore red-eye flight, which departs at midnight and arrives in the early morning. Personally, I don't like doing red-eye as it's so hard to keep myself awake. But, what's even worse is a delayed red-eye flight for around 3 hours. Our hearts sank as we heard the news. We are allowed to take a rest in the briefing rooms as the office is pretty empty at this hour. It's my first time literally trying to sleep in the office. However, my body cannot be switched off in a working environment. Exhausted, we can only rely on our willpower to get through the night and arrive in Singapore. After taking a nap in the hotel, I went to a yoga class and enjoyed authentic Singaporean food at a famous food market. The tiredness is all gone after satiating my appetite. Even though the job is tough, having a nice layover (and a nice set of crew!) can always compensate. A rough start doesn't mean a bad experience after all.
