Attention to South Coast as Dongo Kundu Bypass Nears Completion
The Dongo Kundu bridge is part of the Mombasa Southern Bypass project that is situated in both Mombasa and Kwale Counties. It is being implemented by the Kanya National Highways Authority. The contractor is Fujita Corporation-Mitsubishi Corporation Consortium. The project which commenced on 13th March 2020 if funded by Japan International Corporation Agency and the government of Kenya to the tune of about 24 billion Kenya shillings.
