Tired of Chain Stitch? Here are 3 Ways to Mix It Up!

First of all… the music is back! You know, I thought with all that voiceover, there would be no point in adding background music, but then I just missed it too much, so rest assured that there shall be music from now on! Also I switched to Adobe Premiere Pro, and the editing has become much easier (and hopefully better) as a result. So there's that. Moving on… Today we embark on the second circle of my 90-Variation Chain Stitch Sampler, covering three of my favorite variations of chain: fill, heavy, and Hungarian braided. If you've only been using regular chain stitch as an outline, you are missing out. Heavy and Hungarian chain stitches will give you a thicker line with a lot more texture and detail, while using chain as a fill stitch is often a nice step up from a traditional flat satin stitch. These stitches are amazing for lettering in particular - they will add interest to a ton of different font styles.
