Hello Friends, In this video, I gave explained the difference between regular verbs and irregular verbs. Based on the formation of Past and Past Participle Forms, Verbs are divided into two types. 1.) Regular Verbs 2.) Irregular Verbs. Regular Verbs are the verbs that follow a fixed pattern while conversion from present to past and past participles. Irregular Verbs are verbs that do not follow a fixed pattern while conversion from present to past and past participle form. Regular verbs are formed by adding 'ed', 'd' or 'ied' to the verb's base form as per the last character in the Verb. As irregular verbs do not follow any such pattern, we can not form them just by adding a specific character. Regular Verb Formation is based on the last character of the verb. 1.) Most Regular Verbs are formed by adding 'ed' to the base form of the word 2.) Regular Verbs are formed by adding 'd' to the base form of the word if the verb ends with '-e' 3.) Regular Verbs are formed by adding 'ed' to the base form of the word if the verb ends with '-y' Irregular verbs do not form any fixed pattern. For our understanding, we will divide them into four groups. 1. all three verb forms are the same. 2. same 'past' and 'past participle' form. 3. same 'base' and 'past participle' form. and 4. all three forms are different.
