FINAL DAY OF SERVICE WITH R27 At approximately 8:07am, Ventura County Fire toned out the retirement of Rescue Engine/ Medic Rescue Engine 27. Rescue Engine 127 responded to the final 2 calls with the rescue counterpart which were a medical and a traffic collision. Once they returned to quarters they began to move the equipment from Rescue 27 over to Truck 29. While in process of moving Truck 29 into service 27 took up a lift assist which was Engine 127s first call of the day without the Rescue behind. Rescue 27 thank you for your dedication to Fillmore.
