One Decision Changed This Piece Forever

When I first shared this vintage vanity online, the opinions came flooding in. Some people told me to leave it exactly as it was. Others thought it had already lived its life as a vanity and deserved a second chance. So... I had a decision to make. Instead of restoring it back to its original form, I challenged myself to transform it into two matching nightstands while reusing as much of the original material as possible. That meant carefully taking it apart, solving a lot of little design puzzles, and figuring out how to make it look like it was always meant to be this way.
