Nuovo PEI: che cosa cambia?

Webinar with Dario Ianes, Flavio Fogarolo, and Sofia Cramerotti The new national PEI model, the Individualized Education Plan, for students with disabilities, is now available in schools. Interministerial Decree No. 182 of December 29, 2020, defined the new procedures for assigning support measures, as provided for by Legislative Decree 66/2017, and the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) templates to be adopted by schools. The new PEI will enter into full force next school year, but some elements apply immediately. The adoption of this new tool and related guidelines requires a renewed focus on inclusion practices and provides guidance for their possible revision and improvement. What changes are in the new Individualized Education Plan? What are its strengths? And what are its weaknesses? Does it really represent a step forward in improving the quality of inclusion?
