Well, here was me for years thinking it was slang for fashion, I gathered some footage from a rockabilly fashion docu to make a vid for this (always wondered why he never did one himself at the time), befor I started chopping I thought I should double check the meaning... It turns out it is about male prostitution back when homosexuality was illegal and the slang used to avoid further persecution... Turns out the footage I had chopped fitted in by total happy accident, I think it works relatively well and even has a few subtle metaphors that tie it to the theme.
