How to make a lure rattle
Making lures on a lathe has a few drawbacks, your lure design will be limited to round shapes, and you can't add weight or rattles...or can you? Actually I came up with a way to add a heavy knocker rattle to my lathe made topwater lures. I also came up with a way to overcome that dull wood sound.
