If the feathers leave marks on the rest, it drops too slowly, meaning the timing isn't yet ideal. The fundamental difference between limb-controlled arrow rests like the HAMSKEA Trinity and cable-controlled arrow rests like the QAD HDX is their release mechanism. With a limb-controlled rest, the further the control cable extends toward the cam, the faster the arrow rest releases, and vice versa.
