Field Practical Training Success Stories

From planting trees to understanding living ecosystems. For five weeks, 50 field students from Sokoine University of Agriculture joined MyBirthdayTree Organization expecting a typical field attachment. Instead, they discovered the transformative power of Syntropic Agroforestry (Kilimo Msitu wa Chakula), learning how agriculture can regenerate ecosystems while producing food. Through interactive theory sessions, hands-on field practice, and teamwork, they gained practical skills, deeper ecological understanding, and a new perspective on working with nature instead of against it. This journey is a reminder that the next generation of environmental leaders is growing—one restored landscape, one farm, and one community at a time. #MyBirthdayTreeOrganization #SyntropicAgroforestry #KilimoMsituWaChakula #RegenerativeAgriculture #YouthInAgriculture #EnvironmentalEducation #ClimateAction #LandscapeRestoration #SUA #GrowingTheFuture #Agroforestry #Tanzania
