Ohio Judge Signed A Second Gag Order — And Court Records Show No Hearing | Ohio House of Horrors
Ohio House of Horrors On July 23, 2026, a second gag order was signed in the Ohio Siders case. This one covers Christina Siders, age 67 — the grandmother. Her attorney Kandra Roberts filed the request on July 16. Between July 16 and July 23, court records show NO hearing was held. Ohio law requires a hearing and consideration of alternatives before a gag order can issue. The order silences prosecutors, defense counsel, staff, investigators, expert witnesses, and court officials. It bars any opinion on the character, reputation, or credibility of the alleged victims. For the first time, the judge carved out that public records law still applies. Elizabeth Siders and Gary Siders Sr. have filed NO gag requests as of July 23. The Columbus Dispatch has an active complaint at the Ohio Supreme Court over the July 14 order. Grand jury proceedings are expected in the coming days or weeks. #ohiohouse #SidersCase #OhioNews #GagOrder #VintonCounty #PressFreedom #TrueCrime
