The Central Papua Provincial Government has officially launched the implementation of the Indonesian Regional Government Credit Card (SIPD RI) system, based on the Online SP2D (Special Fund Management System) and the Regional Government Credit Card (KKPD), as a step to accelerate digital transformation in regional financial management. This system enables electronic fund disbursement, is integrated with the banking system, and encourages the use of cashless transactions within the regional government. The launch demonstrates the Central Papua Provincial Government's commitment to realizing more effective, transparent, and accountable financial management. Prior to implementation, all regional government agencies participated in technical guidance and simulations to ensure optimal implementation. Central Papua Governor Meki Nawipa expressed his hope that all regional government agencies would optimize the implementation of the Online SP2D and KKPD-based SIPD RI by increasing human resource capacity and strengthening inter-agency coordination to achieve better regional financial governance. In its implementation, the Central Papua Provincial Government has partnered with Bank Papua as a strategic partner. Through the integration of banking systems, the issuance and disbursement of Fund Disbursement Orders (SP2D) is expected to be faster, safer, and more efficient. Bank Papua President Director, Yuliana D. Yembise, stated that the implementation of SP2D Online through SIPD RI is a concrete step towards a modern and integrated regional financial management system. In addition to supporting the acceleration of regional budget (APBD) disbursement, the implementation of SIPD RI based on SP2D Online and KKPD is also expected to strengthen transparency and accountability, and accelerate the digitalization of financial governance within the Central Papua Provincial Government.
