Early on 11 October 2023, policemen and National Investigation Agency personnel gathered outside human rights activist Abdul Wahid Shaikh’s house in Mumbai. The activist, who spent 9 years in jail for his alleged link to the 7/11 Mumbai train bombings, continues to face harassment from the police, eight years after his acquittal.
