I've finally recovered from food poisoning. The first thing I did after feeling better was a thorough cleaning of the refrigerator and pantry. I reviewed everything from expired food and condiments to old cosmetics and shoes with holes, gradually resetting my home. My household budget is in the red due to unexpected expenses (lol). Even so, thanks to the shoes I wear every day and the houseplants I brought into my room, my life has become a little more comfortable. Saving money is important. But this past week, I was reminded that how we spend money to live comfortably is also important.
