Silfar Canyon in Norway, Stabbursdalen National Park, and the Mortensnes Museum on the Varangerfjord. This week, we're showing you unspoiled nature in Finnmark, traveling in our campervan with our two Labradors, Hailey and Elly. The Silfar Canyon near Børselv is about 80 meters deep, the water shimmers turquoise, and you can hardly see it from the road. We almost drove right past it. No entrance fee, no barriers, no crowds. Before that, we visited Stabbursdalen National Park, the northernmost pine forest in the world. We made it as far as the suspension bridge, but decided against crossing it—it wasn't a good idea with two dogs. Finally, we went to the Mortensnes Museum on the Varangerfjord, a place where people lived thousands of years ago.
