Why Did They Cut This Stuff Out Of Jurassic World: Rebirth?

It looks like Site C, The isle of Saint Hubert in Jurassic World: Rebirth really was meant to be the original island Dr. Wu and John Hammond cloned the dinosaurs on. In behind the scenes info on the movie Industrial Light and Magic reveal that the Mutadon is a failed Velociraptor clone before the theme park was opened on Isla Nublar. This changes a lot of lore for the films because the movie doesn’t explain that at all.
