Running Xi’an’s Ancient City Wall｜Courir sur les remparts anciens de Xi’an | 在西安古城墙上跑一圈

The Xi’an city wall was fully restored and connected in 2005. Ever since then, I had always hoped to run a complete lap on top of it. Twenty years later, that wish has finally come true. After finishing my run, I descended from the North Gate (Anyuan Gate), where my parents were already waiting in their car outside the wall. We then drove straight to Dapiyuan — everything was perfectly arranged. It was an almost perfect morning. 2005 年西安城墙修复合拢。从那一年开始，我就一直想在城墙上完整地跑上一圈。时隔 20 年，这个愿望终于实现。跑完后我从北门下城，父母已经提前开车在城门外等候。我们随后直接驱车前往大皮院，一切都安排得非常妥当。这是一个近乎完美的早晨。 En 2005, les remparts de Xi’an ont été entièrement restaurés et reconnectés. Depuis ce moment-là, je rêvais de courir un tour complet sur ces murailles anciennes. Vingt ans plus tard, ce souhait s’est enfin réalisé. Après avoir terminé ma course, je suis descendu par la porte Nord (porte Anyuan), où mes parents m’attendaient déjà en voiture à l’extérieur des remparts. Ensuite, nous sommes allés directement à Dapiyuan pour le petit-déjeuner — tout était parfaitement organisé.
