Everglades Challenge 2026: Boat set-up, modifications and class designations
Opinions, critiques and suggestions welcome. I have modified the Kruger Dreamcatcher to fit into the Class three category for this year's WaterTribe Everglades Challenge; an 8-day, 300 mile Coastal and Intracoastal paddle or sail (no motor) from Fort Desoto (Tampa Bay) down to Key Largo. Many have done it, and yet many have failed to finish. I'm hopeful that this year will be a good year and that my boats modifications will carry me quickly and safely down the coast. This is the walkthrough of the boat with the sea trials coming next week, stay tuned :) [email protected]
