Deputy Minister of State, Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance, Regina Qwaray, has called on Heads of Departments and civil servants to adhere to ethics, discipline and professionalism in the performance of their duties. She said some of the challenges facing the public service sector include the use of disrespectful language at work, allegations of corruption, as well as the misuse of Government systems, especially in the fields of information and communication technology. Qwaray added that such actions contribute to weakening work efficiency and affecting the image of the public service to the citizens. In addition, she has emphasized the importance of employees being trained in the proper use of technology as well as adhering to work procedures and ethics.
