How Crisis helped change laws in Scotland to end homelessness
After years of hard work, the Scottish Parliament has voted to back our campaign for new laws to prevent people being made homeless! This is a huge win! At Crisis we’ve been campaigning for these changes for years – because we know people are being made homeless in circumstances where, with a bit of help, it could have been prevented. The Scottish Housing Bill contains new protections to help do that, and today MSPs have voted to pass it into law. How did we do it? And why does it matter? Here’s Eilidh to explain!
