Bisschop Wiertz neemt afscheid - Bij De Dag
Hij is binnenkort 50 jaar priester. Daarvan werkte hij 25 jaar in parochies en ongeveer 25 jaar als bisschop. Op zaterdag 9 december 2017 neemt de bisschop van Roermond, Mgr. Wiertz, afscheid tijdens een eucharistieviering in de kathedraal in Roermond. Katholiekleven.nl sprak met hem over wat er de afgelopen 50 jaar is veranderd. Over hoogtepunten en dieptepunten in het leven van de bisschop. Openhartig spreekt Mgr. Wiertz over zijn voortschrijdende blindheid. Daardoor ging een raam op de wereld langzaamaan dicht.
