Lahore to Kalam Day 2 (May 2026)

From the chaos of Lahore's streets to the silence of Kalam's snow-capped peaks — this one journey had it all. We hit the road before sunrise, fuel tank full, playlist ready, and absolutely zero idea how hard this drive was going to hit us. Lahore fades fast when the mountains start calling. Past Islamabad, past Mansehra, past Besham — every kilometre the air gets colder, the roads get wilder, and the views? Unreal. The Karakoram Highway stretch alone was enough to make us pull over three times just to stare. The Swat Valley rolls in like something out of a dream — green beyond green, river running loud beside the road, villages clinging to cliffsides like they've been there forever. Because they have.
