The 40th Uckfield Model Railway Exhibition - Uckfield, UK 2025

I visited the 40th annual Uckfield Model Railway Exhibition, held on the 18th and 19th of October 2025, and honestly, it was one of the best model railway shows I’ve been to. The standard of modelling across the exhibition was really impressive, with a huge variety of layouts on display, covering different scales, gauges, eras and locations. There were finescale British layouts, narrow gauge railways, compact cameo layouts, industrial scenes, international prototypes and plenty more to take in. In this video, we take a quick look at some of the layouts that were on display and get a feel for what made the show so good. It was also really easy to get to by train from London, which made it a great day out as well.
