I BROKE THE HORSE: 47 Min fully improvised Jam with Roland AIRA J-6 (feat. Volca Sample)
#roland #aira #j6 @rolandglobal Whenever I discover something that I never expected, I'm very satisfied inside. Is this allowed? I hope yes. Today is all about the J-6. As you know I repurchased the J-6 after being able to use it for a few days right after its release a few months ago. At that time I didn't have much time and unfortunately it was just a matter of trying it out. I couldn't penetrate deeper. I realized that sometime a few weeks ago and decided to give the J-6 a second chance, it wasn't his fault if he didn't convince me. That's why I always say: discover your instrument and take your time. So I had fallen for my own rule. But now I've made amends. I now have a little more time. Time that is also urgently needed for the J-6, because believe it or not: It bothered me that the J-6 somehow couldn't be used in the Live Jam. Or could you? If that's possible, I really wanted to find out. Yesterday I spontaneously sat down and tried out some of the functions of the J-6 and I think I'm crazy: What didn't work months ago suddenly works. Of course, Roland may have made some adjustments here, but I could swear that it wasn't possible to enter notes live like with a sequencer. Do you disagree? Write it in the comments. I am excited. Anyway. I was amazed when I could suddenly use the J-6 like a MicroFreak or a Volca Bass and it's great fun to jam with the J-6. If you already own one, I can heartily recommend it. And you won't believe it, but actually I just wanted to jam a little (10 minutes maximum) but you know that with me. When it's my turn...... I also got the Volca Sample. Why not the PO 33? To be honest, I didn't find the sounds suitable, for me they are more like 80th style in the J-6 and the Volca sample just fits better. Maybe the Volca Beats too, but I don't have that (can you hear me KORG, I don't have the Volca Beats... Christmas is coming soon.... ) 0:00 Prep 1:40 Mercury 7:00 Venus 11:00 Earth 18:00 Mars 20:00 Jupiter 29:15 Saturn 33:15 Uranus 39:30 Neptune 43:20 Pluto (in deep reverence for the universe i have named all tracks after the known planets in our home solar system. I hope that depends on the quality. I hope to have a permanent solution in the new year. fingers crossed Love Volcaniced Important Notes: Please forgive the bad perspective, but the bracket had moved again, but I didn't see that. Moreover, as always and with every long jam, it takes a few minutes to get to the music. so please forgive the mistakes at the beginning. ##################################################### Show the World what you love: https://volcaniced.myspreadshop.de/ How I record my Videos: • How I record my Videos - A short Overview Check out my free Patch Packages for MicroMonsta 2 and MicroFreak on Gumroad: MicroMonsta: volcaniced.gumroad.com/l/MicroMonsta2Patches MicroFreak: volcaniced.gumroad.com/l/KqyQnr Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
