Acrylic Pours Gone Beautifully Wrong

It’s been a long time since I’ve done an acrylic pour, and I definitely do not have the perfect setup for it right now. These pours didn’t turn out “perfect,” but that’s okay because I was really creating colorful mix for backgrounds to use in future artwork. In this video, I’m playing with acrylic paint, movement, color choices, and texture on 8.5 x 11 boards. As long as the colors don’t turn muddy, even an imperfect pour can become a beautiful background for birds, florals, collage, coastal art, and other mixed media projects. This is more of a relaxed process video than a perfect acrylic pouring tutorial. Sometimes the best art starts with experimenting, making a mess, and seeing what you can turn it into later.
