During the Penal Days in Ireland, practice of the Catholic religion was banned. Priest Hunters made their livelihood by hunting down, killing priests and presenting their heads to the authorities. One such Priest Hunter was Sean naSagart (John of the priests), the notorious local man from Derrew, near the town of Castlebar. This is his story.
