W13 • Your Invitation To Endless Wonder

When you find a song like this and go down the sentimental/light hearted route to a show, it's always going to be a stress killing ride. So new fandom. I adore W13 and all its X-Files mixed with Indiana Jones mixed with Stargate humour. And I especially love the running gags with fudge and cookies and reading the manual ( "It's a thousand pages long, I'll wait for the movie" ). And the guest stars are all epic win; BSG, Firely, Eureka, etc. It's an ensemble team vid although you're more likely to see some Pete/Myka moments. Plus there's a lot of quotes from the show for a lyrical track but I managed to slip most of them in comfortably. Effectswise, I kept it to sepias given the subject of old antique artefacts and some purples to represent the neutralizer goo. I think when I get round to adding effects to my Claudia vid, I'll reuse some of the purples since it suits her well. Hardly any After Effects; I only used it for the end when I was fitting the clip into the top panel of the wooden box. I dedicate this vid to Pete the ferret, who's stellar performance in W13 inspired me to make this video. May you return in series 2 to save the day in some unlikely manner.
