José María, a veteran of the Falklands War, offers a different perspective on society's tributes to war veterans. He doesn't see himself as a hero, but as a victim. He calls for the April 2nd commemorations in Argentina to be a march against war, not a vindication of the Falklands War. At 19, he fought in the Falklands War. He is the founder of the Mar del Plata Center for Falklands War Veterans. Since 1988, the year he settled in Bariloche, he has organized the local Veterans Center. He studied engineering and theater, and worked as a sound engineer for numerous shows. He worked at Cerro Catedral as a ski lift technician and has been a managing partner of a local company for 12 years. He is married to Moma Mozetich and is the father of twin daughters: Martina and Natasha. Their mission: to help others find peace after war.
