Sure it's part of TNP ongoing testing but also, as discussed, it's just part of necessary land pest management. And in doing so I've made more than a few mistakes running the AGM night vision sighting devices like their Neith and Rattler series. These are excellent NODs, make no mistake, but they do possess a few pitfalls discussed here. These are inherent in all NODs with current technology. These sights provide xlnt nigh capabilities but they are in need of interface/ergonomic improvements also. You see it's hard to get experience in using these things mounted on an AR15...you just don't go to a range get your NOD experience. It has to be done in-field in a wide variety of dirt conditions, under time pressure to make the shots, and in a wide variety of temps.
