Con el tradicional desfile, Marcos Paz conmemoró un nuevo aniversario de la Independencia nacional

The main event to celebrate Independence Day took place in San Martín Square, with the participation of Mayor Ricardo Curutchet, city institutions, community leaders, and residents. Ricardo thanked the community for their presence and noted that "the square was once again too small" due to the large turnout for this national holiday. He also reflected on the significance of July 9th, stating that "We must continue building Argentina day by day, between the ideal and the possible." The mayor also encouraged everyone to celebrate Independence Day looking toward the future, pointing out that "we must dare to break the mold, include everyone, and create opportunities, not with words, but with actions." After the official ceremony, the festivities continued with the traditional civic parade, in which local institutions and community leaders participated. New vehicles for the municipal police and an ambulance for the hospital were also presented, among other new additions. The celebration concluded with another edition of the Criolla Empanada Festival at the Paseo de la Estación, an event that brought together residents and visitors to share a day of community, identity, and celebration of the national holiday.
