San Diego's BIGGEST SWELL in Years!

The Best Place to Watch BIG WAVE SURFING in San Diego San Diego got its first big wave swell of the season this week and spots like La Jolla Cove and Blacks Beach pulled in some XL waves. La Jolla Cove is one of the best spots to watch big waves in San Diego due to its proximity to the waves. It's the closest you can get to a 10-20-foot wave without a boat or needing binoculars. The cove-shaped beach also provides several different viewing points and perspectives. Surfline reported this long period WNW swell coming in 30% bigger than model guidance with 2-3x overhead waves and 3x overhead at standouts. As you can see in the video, several cleanup sets washed through the lineup putting surfers in tough situations. Enjoy this video on your smart TV in 4K for the best experience. Yet, Black’s Beach proved why it’s San Diego’s “main stage,” offering some of the biggest, most challenging waves in the area. #Surfing #SanDiego #LaJolla
