Turns out, trash can be a blessing. ♻️🏠 The Yogyakarta City Government is once again implementing a house renovation program for underprivileged residents. Interestingly, this time, the beneficiaries' homes are using roof tiles made from recycled waste from plastic bottles, sachet wrappers, and used packaging, which were previously considered worthless. This program goes beyond simply repairing buildings; it also demonstrates that proper waste management can bring economic, social, and environmental benefits. Through the collaboration of the Yogyakarta City Government, the Yogyakarta City Zakat Agency (Baznas), Bank Jogja, and various other parties, the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) is being fostered to provide healthier, safer, and more livable housing for the community.
