More Than Waffles: A Hidden Breakfast Gem in the Valleys

This week, I continue my search for the best breakfast in the Valley(s) with a visit to More Than Waffles — and I have to tell you, this one made me work for it. It took me three attempts to finally find this restaurant. It is tucked away in the back of the shopping center, on a lower level, and not visible from the street. But once I finally found it, my persistence was rewarded. And rewarded in a big way. In this video, I break down my full breakfast experience at More Than Waffles, including: the sunny outdoor patio seating the warm, nostalgic interior that feels like every grandmother’s dining room and every grandchild’s favorite memory the corned beef hash the poached eggs the waffle the house-made salsa the thick-cut bacon and one of the most memorable cups of coffee I’ve had in quite some time I ordered the corned beef hash, and once again, consistency won the day. Because their name includes waffles, I had no choice but to sample the waffle as well — and I’m glad I did. While I would have preferred it a little warmer, the waffle was light, fluffy, buttery, and delicious. The real standout on the plate, though, may have been the corned beef hash. It was rich, layered, and stunningly flavorful, with perfectly poached eggs and two welcome surprises: a genuinely tasty house-made salsa and thick-cut bacon that came with the meal and was cooked perfectly And I would be remiss if I did not mention the coffee. Dark roast, aromatic, and with floral hints that made it impossible to stop drinking.
