D'oh! (Thank you again Livio for pointing it out!) Hello! Hope everyone's staying safe out there. Today we're gonna go through "Looking Glass", one of Allan's most played tunes. The way it has been played has evolved over the years from first being played on the synthaxe tuned in 5ths, to standard and more. I try to go through every part of it, which is why the video is so long! If you can get thru the "A" section, you're already there because the song repeats so much of the same sequence. To keep it even shorter, when those sections repeat, I don't go through the chords again, just if there's anything new added. Also take note how I'm physically playing the chords, again using the 'side' of my fingers. Check out the thumbnail of this video as well. In the bridge section, I also show you some alternate ways to play some of the chords if you have trouble with the way Allan plays them. Some of you also might take some issue with some of the chord names. I figured I would add I did not take the bass note into consideration and only focus on the chords. I also tried to give the chord the most straightforward name I can, even if functionally it might not be correct. Also, let me know what other songs you would like to see! For those that do not know, I have written a book that lists and arranges chords used by Allan. In doing that I have transcribed over 50 of his tunes.
