Judgement Day - Blues Saraceno Cover by ES DEUX duet
The Es Deux Project was the result of a serendipitous meeting of two musicians, India Simi a Singer Songwriter from Lucca in Tuscany and Fabrizio Sartini a One Man Band /Acoustic Guitar Player from Rome. An immediate connection sparked between the two. His experience with Folk and Country and hers with Gothic Rock, immediately made the challenge before them clear - to bring together the best of these two musical worlds. Exploring the darkest part of music with new songs and covers, from country folk to R’& B’, traveling from blues to reggae. Both are refined singers and convey emotions through elegant arrangements. “We feel a strong need to divulge and express our emotions...to feel that there are other people out there who feel what we feel”. The project name Es Deux (which means two Ss in French) refers to the two artist’s surnames which both begin with the letter S. In 2 years time, we hope to release our first 2 albums and to go on a couple of Concert Tours, one as a Supporting Act and one All On Our Own. Our Influences: The Gathering,Stone Temple, Metallica. Bjork, Chelsea Wolfe, Johnny Cash, Simon and Garfunkel, Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, Trevor Green, Blues Saraceno / esdeuxmusic India Simi: Vocals & backing vocals, Bass, Ethnic Percussions Fabrizio Sartini: Vocals and backing vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Foot Drum
